LG updates US-sold enV, wins more hearts

Verizon Wireless, in the US, is quite a fan of unusual LG models; however, the most out-there has got to be the enV candybar / QWERTY flip model, a-la the Nokia E90 Communicator.

The original enV was a hit; integration with Verizon's VCAST media service was great, and messaging was a breeze; however, the internal screen was pitiful and the shape blocky and unfashionable.

However, that looks set to change with the enV2, an update to the product that enhances the internal screen (and makes it much bigger, thankfully), increases keyboard usability, adds a USB port for sync - and possibly charge - ditching the proprietary LG port, and keeps the microSD expansion slot.

Two colours will be available at retail; black and maroon. Oh, how we wish this could travel down under, but once again, that's unlikely to happen.
